It's Gouda for you!

Gouda first appears in historical records as early as 1184, making it one of the world’s oldest cheese varieties. Gouda is a washed curd cheese, resulting in a sweeter taste and less acidic finish than is typically found in other hard cheeses. Sweet and very mild, Gouda is a very accessible cheese appropriate for any number of uses. Most typically used on cold or grilled sandwiches, it’s also perfect for baking or as a binder in soups or casseroles. Our locally-produced Gouda is exemplary of the style – it’s not hard to see why this is among the world’s most consumed varieties.
